MICHAEL JACKSON LEAVES BAHRAINI LABEL

It looks as though die-hard fans of Michael Jackson will have to wait even longer for the pop legend to release a new album. His last album came out in 2001 and, until recently, the scoop was that Jackson has been working on an album in Bahrain with a company there called Two Seas.

Now it seems the King of Pop has pulled out of the arrangement, and that a new album will be released under his new company called The Michael Jackson Company. Among the people he may work with is producer Teddy Riley.

Two Seas was a partnership with Abdulla Hamad Al-Khalifa of the royal family of Bahrain, where Jackson moved in 2005 after a U.S. court found him not guilty of child molestation.

Jackson’s album is planned for release in 2007.
